How do I remove ShareThis safely?

ShareThis is causing a 400 millisecond delay for every single website request I make, is there anyway to remove it safely, as this is very frustrating :-(.

Hi,

at this moment it is not possible to remove this plugin without files modifications but we'll consider this while future updates.

any known work around? as losing that much performance per page is a bit harsh. I'm happy to hack php code if that is what is needed...

No work around in this case except files modifications but we do not offer those kind of solutions. The only thing you can do is disable this option on Blog, Portfolio and Shop pages under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > General section.

Yep, turning off that option stops the sharethis plugin from slowing down my pages. Thanks!

Sharethis seems not to be compliant with the dataprotection law! We don´t know what kind of data are collected.

@rupprich So if you don't like it, just disable it under the section we mentioned above.
