which slider is not responsive exactly? Any link to page where slider isn't responsive just as you want it?

If you have default settings, slider is always responsive. And because we don't know what you set exactly, it's difficult to say what you did in the back-end. Please check the following screenshots of how responsive supposed to look like:

alot of my text and videos are outside the mobile view.

is there a way to remove the slider or disable it only on mobile view and replace it with a hero image only on mobile?

You can disable slider on mobile under Slider Revolution > Slider Settings > Layout & Visual > Mobile section. However, as far as we know, slider does not have an option to replace one slider with another on mobile only.

If I may interject here - I just want to bring to stephgordon445 attention that

he can hide specific elements of the slider in mobile view.

I have realized it only lately.

Under "Visibility" > "Visibility on devices" you can turn the element on or off.

This may be a sort of solution to that issue.
