Hi,
I have been trying for the past several days to integrate an alternative search results system into my website so I can have more ability to control what is shown in my search results. It almost works however I am faced with an odd glitch that only appears when the BeTheme is running. When I search for 1 word or multiple words that occur next to each other in a page or post, I get 0 search results. Only when there are multiple words that don't occur next to each other in the query do I actually get search results.
I'm not asking you to integrate Betheme with the plugin (Relevanssi) however I'm interested to find out how the Betheme alters search functionality for wordpress. I also noticed other search plugins that I tested to exclude pages from the search results had no effect only when BeTheme was running.
Are there any reasons BeTheme has it's own search functionality or processing other than maybe for translations? I have checked search.php but can't seem to find any answers as to how it is different than WP default TwentySixteen theme. Are there any other functions on other theme php pages that have to do with altering the search processing?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I am stuck with out a search engine that meets my needs.
Thank you and keep up the great work on this theme (I love it!)
Mike

the search we offer with the BeTheme is a default WordPress search. We do not interfere into search functionality at all and it works exactly the same way as search widget with default WP theme.
