  Pretty simple:

  
  

  In the code where you want the scroll to stop:

  
  

  ANCHOR POINT:

  <a id="myidhere"  ></a>

  (make sure you have the closing </a>... don't skip it!

  
  

  Here is the link to that point:

  <a
  href="#myidhere">view my id here</a>

   

  So, if this was on a page url: www.site.com/mypage

  
  

  The link would be: www.site.com/mypage/#myidhere
