How Can I turn Off Muffin Builder?

edited November 2016 in BeBuilder
I'd like to use the VC page builder as I am familiar with it and do not wish to learn another page builder when it is not necessary. How can I turn off Muffin Builder, thanks.

Will I get an email notification when this thread gets a reply?

  • Hi,

you can disable Muffin Builder under Theme options > Global > Advanced section.
  • I have disabled BeTheme Demo Data in 'Theme Functions' and cleared my browser and server cache, but all Muffin content is still showing.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks,
  • Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will show you where the content is. Please don’t forget to let us know what for the access is.
  • Hi,

    Just sent, thanks.
  • Hi guys,

Have you received the login details okay?

Sent via your contact form as requested.

    Thanks,
  • Yes, we get and we replied on your message on 26th of November at 7:33 AM so please check your inbox.
  • Hi,

    What inbox?

    Thanks,
  • Your mail inbox. http://pasteboard.co/3E5O8ryM0.png - this is a proof of sent message.
  • Ah, I see. Thanks for sharing. The subject line has no mention of Muffin, hence it does not stand out when looking for an email from Muffin.

    How ridiculous.

  • Here's a copy of the email you sent.

we did checked your dashboard and below we reply on your questions:

    1. As you can see on http://pasteboard.co/2hCiafmBj.png we were able to change header’s background successfully. All we did was change Top Bar Left background under Theme options > Colors > Header section.

I have managed to change the colour now thanks. But it wasn't without headaches. The labeling system for the backend it not clear at all. How does 'Top Bar Left background' relate to the background of the main header part? Again this is ridiculous.

    2. The Content of Muffin Builder is still available and you didn’t removed it. The first thing you need to do is go to Theme options > Global > Advanced section and select Builder | Visibility to EVERYONE. Then, go to home page edition and under WordPress default editor/Page Options, remove the content of Muffin Builder you can see on http://pasteboard.co/2hFRKgbVW.png

Does this mean I cannot flick one switch to turn off Muffin and I'll have to manually delete ALL Muffin part on the individual page to remove the Muffin content?

    Thanks
  • 1. Sorry but we can't agree with you and you are the first person for whom it's ridiculous. It's very clear. The header is built from the LEFT BAR and RIGHT. The left one is where the logo and menu are but the right is where all other details like cart, language switcher, etc are.

    2. Yes, this is how it exactly works.

We have a proposition for you. Because we noticed that anything you do with BeTheme is ridiculous and does not met with your needs, we suggest to send us refund request thru contact form on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we would be more than happy to give you the money back. We don't want to force anyone to use BeTheme for their projects so maybe you will find another product that will fit better to your needs and knowledge.
  • Hi,

It's a bit late for a refund, as I've almost finished building out the site. But thanks for the offer, much appreciated.

If this forum wasn't so basic, i'd attach a screenshot showing you exactly what I mean with regards to labelling the header background. It's simply confusion as it is.
