Slider only on the homepage/startpage

Hello!

I have inserted a slider under the Menu by short code on my homepage/startpage.
When I click another category in the menu I see the slider but also here. I would like to see this only on the homepage/startpage.
How do I get this?

    to set slider on homepage only, you should select this slider under Page Options of home page where Slider Revolution drop-down field is.

    Sorry but somehow does not work. Could they explain this more precisely.

    I have created a page with the slider (visual camposer element).
    This slider can be seen above. This page is also my postsite with all new posts. If I now click on the menu to get another area, then I still see the slider. Directly
    on the page under Page Options with Slider Revolution drop-down field I
    can only select default.

    If you have DEFAULT under Slider Revolution drop-down field only, you must be using multisite and to display sliders on the list, you need to change Table Prefix under Theme options > Global > Advanced section. If you do this, you will see all slides you made on the list and instead of using VC for slider, you should select slider with this drop-down option.

    I had the same issue, the slider was appearing in the blog posts. I fixed by selecting --Select-- in the Slider | Revolution Slidier on the blog posts pages, in the MEDIA area.
