Muffin, if you don't mind taking a look. I have followed your instructions exactly and the button appears but the popup is blank when I click. I have placed the URL as specified it just doesn't seem to be working. Here is a link to the page in question.
[popup title="Click to view our Upwork top-rated profile and read more reviews" padding="0" button="1"]<a href="http://www.upwork.com/fl/taraw"></a>[/popup]
Hi Bryan, I'm actually trying to create ids for the popups on a page, so that I can track them with Google Tag Manager.
When you reload a page with multiple popup short codes, the link changes every time you refresh, so I can't even use the tags as assigned by the shortcode. adding an id="andrew" into the code doesn't seem to work either. Any suggestions? we are using it on https://hptechventures.com/team/ and I'd like to be able to track which bios get more engagement.
There is no way to turn on the popup with "#" link, this action is reserved for anchor links.
You would have to create some kind of jQuery script which will overwrite that option and recognize, which popup href should be clicked when page is loaded.
I'm not sure I understand. I don't want to use "#" I just want to track engagements with the popups on the page using google tag manager, but I can't assign the link associated with each popup, because the link changes every time the page loads. (See screen shots here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zmj5c1919wple2d/AAA20UnMiYJnovd2WEDip4v_a?dl=0) Is there anyway I can uniquely tag each of these links? perhaps with classes? or IDs? https://hptechventures.com/team/
Hey there, not sure if this is helpful. I have a button I created that I would like to create some popup text, so they click the button, and then a Lightbox appears with text in it.
or alternatively, is there a way to make an accordion open "up" instead of "down"?

could you explain why exactly you can not create it and how you put the content into popup shortcode?
Happy new year too!

Hello @thomslsw,
It's easy to create a popup in BeTheme, please follow the steps mentioned in topic below
https://support.muffingroup.com/how-to/how-to-display-content-in-popup/
Thanks
That's not what I'm asking. I'd love to be able to create a button, and clicking that button makes a pop up.
Or have the accordion open vertically.
Sorry, but I quite do not understand.
In the link in previous message you have instructions to create a button that will open the popup.
There is also a shortcode for popup:
https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/shortcodes/typography/#popup
If it is not what you want to achieve, please, explain to me greater how it should look.
Can you also attach some example of it, please?
Thanks
Hi,
I used the popup code from this page: https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/shortcodes/typography/#popup - how to change the color of the button that triggers the popup and the text of that button?
Thank you!
The popup button takes its style from theme options.
If you want to change its display, please, go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> Buttons.
Thanks
