Hi, I'm looking at the Furniture Demo and I cannot locate where the video mask is being set. Any help?

Hi,

this mask comes automatically with background videos. So if you want to remove it, then please use below css:

.section.has-video .section_video .mask { background: none; }

I'm trying to remove the pattern but I also want to have a color overlay using

background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.3);

Is there a different way to accomplish this?

@bradwbowman Ok, thanks for the link. So to remove the patter and set overlay color instead, you need to use the following css:

.section.has-video .section_video .mask {
    background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.3) !important;
    background-image: none !important;
}

whats the point of the mask? I thinking about removing it but would like to know what its purpose is

It's just an additional overlay for video, to make it more matching with website.
