Show excerpt text in blog_slider

HI, and great theme.

I`m using a shortcode to show the slider blog style flat in the home page and I wont to show the excerpt of the psot It`s possible I have write (show_excerpt="true") but don`t work. I don`t find a solution in the discussions.

Hey,

if you want to show excerpts for blog slider, then unfortunately this is not possible. We can consider this feature but so far this can't be done.

I would also like this simple feature to add the exerpt below the title in the blog slider, now need to alter the core files... Can it be realised in a next theme update please? This can't be hard, thanks a lot !

@buro86 Yes, it is not hard as most of additional features but please understand that we can not add any feature you just want because lot’s of users uses poor hosting services and more options/features means higher server requirements. So if we will do necessary tests and decide that it does not charge server resources to much, then we will consider adding it of course.
