How do I collapse the area where the slider is meant to be on certain pages

Hi,

I thought the BeTheme "Translator" theme would collapse the area where the slider is if NO slider is selected but it doesn't. I want the slider on the home page and I'm in the process of configuring it but i do not want it on other pages.

Sooo I want to collapse that area that is vacant below the menu when no slider is selected in the page settings.

I have finally found it!!.. The subheader and breadcrumbs were on. I had to hide them in Header and Subheader options.

I hope this helps someone down the track.
