Removing Blog Image Hover Mask and Options( larger images and link)

Hi, I just want the image to be static and have no links in my bñlog except for links via the text links ( title and read more).

I saw a solution with css for a single image hover but tried this and it didn't work for me on the blog.

But as we see, you don't have: hover mask and link options on this page. As we see links are only for titles and read more buttons as you requested above so we do not understand what exactly you need more.
