Hi,

Is it possible to force the footer to appear at the bottom of every screen, regardless of its dimensions? It looks awkward here that users see the footer and then a strip of white space underneath it, and also the 'last portfolio item' button beneath it.

Hi,

there is not enough content for the screen where its being displayed and that's why it doesn't go to the bottom. So if you have pages with not enough content, you should activate Stick to bottom if content is too short style under Theme Options > Footer section.

Sorry but this couldn't be done as well. It could be narrower only if you change Grid Width for the whole site under Theme options > Global > General section.

As we wrote above, GRID WIDTH is the only option that allows to make the footer and the whole rest narrower. We are sorry but we do not have any other option except this one.

Yes, I understand that. What I am asking is what sort of number (for 'grid width') would work well for my site if I would like to, say, halve the height of the footer?

It only depends on you. We usually use 1920px because this is what we like but tastes are different.

I have tried a variety of grid widths between 960px and 1920px. None of them gave me a footer that's less high. Can this be edited in footer.php instead?

Sorry, we completely forgot that you have full width set. This option would work with the boxed version only. However, with full width layout, we do not have any workaround to make it possible to decrease footer width unfortunately.

Any web developer that has skills in html/css coding, will be able to do this for sure under footer.php file.
