Apply a custom font

Is there a way or code to apply a custom font to the website?

  • Hi,

yes, you can upload custom fonts under Theme options > Fonts > Custom section.
  • I just did that and then named it and selected it in the font section, but it didn't appear to change the font to what the file was I uploaded. The text should look like the logo text on agavesidebar.com
  • Please send us link to page where you did it then and tell us what is the font name so we can have a look on it closer.
  • I applied it to the entire website at agavesidebar.com. I went to the font - custom then uploaded a zip of the .ttf file. Then I went into the font - family and selected the font I uploaded to all of the font family, but it changed the font to look like it currently does. The font name is Algerian Regular. If you go to the agavesidebar.com and look at the logo in the menu bar, that is what the text looks like.
  • Ok, thanks for the link because it explains a lot. Please take a look on http://pasteboard.co/tSGZZfSJT.png and tell us, did you really uploaded font in .zip format or it's by mistake? Did you knew that font to work properly, requires 4 different file types to be uploaded (.woff, .ttf, .svg and .eot)? We suggest you to contact with your web developer, because the code of your website looks messy.
  • No I did not upload the files correctly, which I am assuming why the code of the website looked messy. I went back and uploaded each file now knowing how it works, but it still did not seem to work correctly. I do not have it on the website now, but I can add it if that would help figure out why this is not working.
  • Sorry, but this is not true. Just look at https://snag.gy/QdzJue.jpg and you will see that your font files are still .zip format. We really suggest you to contact with your web developer.
