PAGE SCROLL STOPS WHEN CURSOR REACHES YOUTUBE VIDEO

Hi,

On my site when you scroll down with the cursor over the home page, the scroll stops and locks on the YouTube video I have embedded below the home page slider. I need to know how to remove this function so that you can scroll past it without having to use the scroll bar on the right side of the page. Please advise.

Thanks,

Keith

  • Hi,

where can we find YT video? It looks like you have default WP theme active instead.
  • Hi,
we have same problem, but same problem is in your demo theme http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/video/ if you scroll with mouse wheel and cursor is over VM video, scrolling stop. If you put mouse cursor to right half of screen, there is no problem, if you put mouse cursor to left half of screen and scroll slowly, scrolling stop when mouse cursor is on video. If you have big size video over whole screen in middle of page, it is problem, becouse scrolling stop every time.  Video object probably steal focus, when is mouse over them and steal mouse events.

    thanks

  • Ohh, that's what you mean. Thanks for the explanation. However, what you ask for is unfortunately impossible and there is no official solution to make the scroll active on the videos.
