This looks like the first image was uploaded before theme installation and that's why it is a different size than the rest. Please use https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/ to refresh all images and resize them to BeTheme.

Yes, timeouts for sliders can be set under Theme options > Global > Section section.
