At first, we do not blame anyone but we just tell how the truth is. And secondly, this is really not our fault that some of you has very poor hosting services that does not allow to save larger amounts of content. There is always 1% of people in every kind of business that blame everyone around and does not even look on themselves. We get used to such situations already.
I'm having the same problem ... I can not edit the muffin group, but the problem only occurred after updating wordpress to version 4.7.2 What's the solution? Working with the outdated version of wordpress?
I fixed the problem and it had nothing to do with the server. It was the theme had two homepages. This could have very well been my fault as I don't remember if I made the 2nd homepage or not. There was a homepage2 that I believe I renamed. Once I started using the 2nd homepage, it was fine, but I was not able to edit one of the same homepages. I'll take the blame for this as I don't have a problem realizing that I'm just one of everyone in this world that is not perfect, including you. There is no need to be so sarcastic to your paying customers.
@JulianGomes As you can see on http://pasteboard.co/yzTdlGW9Q.png the problem in your case is with max_input_vars variable. It's limited to 1000 so this is exactly what we wrote above.
@lolitasmith We are not sarcastic (we are just telling how the reality is) but as we you can see, your issue has nothing to with the theme just as we thought. We would never guess that you were changing different page because it's just impossible . And as you can see above, "one of everyone" has exactly the same max_input_vars limit we mentioned in previous message. And we clearly marked it on the screenshot as a proof.

this sounds like you are unable to save the content only because of the limits on your server side. More details about that you can read in the following topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7689/muffin-builder-items-or-page-options-can-not-be-saved-max-input-vars
Thanks!
Anyway, please go to theme folder, create php file with phpinfo() function inside and send us link to that file so we can prove that we are right. For more details about file creation, please visit https://mediatemple.net/community/products/dv/204643880/how-can-i-create-a-phpinfo.php-page
