I used a demo blog post and replaced ALL the text to create a new post. But demo content text is still visible in the post as the 'preview' text, not MY content.

I can see it in the source code, but don't know how to get rid of it.

If I click on the post title and go to a page that displays just that post, then it is fine.

Please don't tell me to edit the code via ftp. I am using WordPress to avoid that.

Help please.

Hi,

these texts are probably Excerpts and you should be able to remove them from Excerpt field. If you don't see such under Post Options section, you need to click in the right top corner where Screen Options is and check Excerpt field. After that, additional field should appear at the bottom.

P.S. In reference to Item Support Policy, files customization are not allowed, so we do never provide such solutions.

Thank you but...

As I said, i replaced all the text . Every word. The excerpt should be text I put in, but it is not. the filler text is NOT on the blog post at all, yet it still appears.

The only option in the excerpt field is how many words you want the excerpt to be. I want the excerpt to be there, but I want MY excerpt. but somehow the theme is hanging on to demo content and won't let go!

Just now I set the Excerpt length to 0. The excerpts of the post from your demo content are still there. The excepts I created from scratch have no excerpts, which is correct since length is set to 0.

I wanted to use the demo post layout because of some of the good options it has. But I can't do that if there is this bug.

Please fix or tell me how I can fix.

If you don't know how to set Excerpts for posts properly, please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will show you what you did wrong exactly because we are sure that what we wrote above, works. Please don’t forget to let us know in private message, what for the access is.

I have been able to set and change excerpts for posts I made from scratch and they display correctly and change when i change the excerpt setting.

Currently, I have my excerpt length set to 0

please view http://691.6a3.myftpupload.com/megs-blog/ and see 2 posts with excerpt content that I DID NOT WRITE, and that is showing despite excerpt being set at 0.

please click on these and see the real post content - which does NOT contain the words shown in the excerpt.

if you still don't see what I mean, i will give you dashboard access.
