Change Background Colors of Post Descriptions based on Category

Hi there, I'd like to know how to change the background color of the post descriptions in the masonry blog layout based on the category type. This is done in the BeJournalist theme. Thank you!

Well, on the screenshot you can see that those are featured images. There are no custom colors for each cateogry and it cannot be set with our options, sorry

That's not true. The solid colored boxes have RGB colors defining the background. You can see it here: http://treescharlotte.yellowduckmarketing.com/wp-content/themes/treescharlotte/images/bejournalist2.png

Sorry, I misunderstood you, this is a color.

Go to theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>blog and select the mansory title style.

Then edit the post and under the muffin builder you will find a color option

If there is an image selected the color will not be shown.
