Problem with notify me when new comments added?

I've received a request from one of my bog readers: 

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Bless you!

Is there anything that can be done about this? Many thanks in advance.

    Hey,

    this is a WordPress functionality and this has nothing to with the Betheme itself. So if you want to avoid situation to get same comments, you need to look for a plugin because we did never tested any and we don't even know if such plugin exists.

    Thanks for confirming that. I have checked out my settings in Wordpress, but nothing to indicate why this client is experiencing this issue. I'll check again!
