Color / Image Background

Hi,

I am unsure of where to change the following as shown in link. When using custom color skin option the color changes. When selected to using the blue skin how can I change the color or set it to use a image as background?

When you use a custom color skin, the colors you set in options do not show up. The skin overwrites these options. Please send a link to your page, maybe we can help with css.

When using the custom bar on left has the correct color as in the footer.It is only when I choose the blue color option I only get it to be white and cannot find where I should change the color. Currently I am working offline still with it before updating the current site: www.mr-ad.co.za

Here is the link. The footer has the right kind of color as background. I would like to change the left sidebar with menu to use the same or if possible a texture image for sidebar and footer.

Have you tried theme options>colors>header?

Hi,

Yes I have. The only time it changes to same color is when set to custom skin.

That is very weird that color options does not work. However, if you don't know what you did exactly in the panel why this color does not work, you can use the following css to change creative header and footer background colors:

.header-open #Header_creative { background: #000 !important; }
#Footer { background: #000 !important; }

Thank you very much. What I did what install the GOODFOOD pre built. Then I changed the creative menu to display the sidebar on the left.

Then I went colors and saw it was using the custom skin.I then changed it to the blue scheme which then keep footer the right color but not the bar. I have gone through all the color options to see if I could change it that way,but had no luck in that.

If you pick a custom skin color, you cannot change the colors. THe skin overwrites everything.
