Sidebar Widgets now showing on Shop page

The widgets (product category and others) are not showing up on the Shop page. The sidebar widgets are shown on other pages. The sidebar widgets are showing up when using other themes. I'm using the BE theme.

Not all the product images on the shop page are getting hard cropped.

    Hi,
You  need to make a sidebar (or use a existing one) and go to appearance>widgets where you can set all the widgets you want. You can also check by editing the shop page, under the muffin builder, if you have set the sidebar for the shop pages there.

To change the size of the images on portfolio/blog/shop please navigate to theme options>blog, portfolio&shop>featured image
There set the desired image size. Remember to read the notice at the bottom of the page regarding thumbnail regeneration.
    thanks

  • I've already done this entire process for sidebar on Shop page. The space for the side bar is shown on the Shop page, it's just that the widgets are not shown on the Shop page. That is the initial issue I had and mentioned. The same sidebar when put on other pages, is showing the widgets correctly.

Under the options options>blog, portfolio&shop>featured image. It has options only to resize images for Blog & Portfolio pages not the shop page. I tried to hard crop image from the Woocommerce> Products> Display> Product (Hard crop) options, still all images are not hard cropped.

Please provide solution to my specific issue and not just generic replies.

    Thank you.
  • This is not a genereic reply. Did you use thumbnail regeneration? Else the image size for thumbnails will not work.
You set the sidebar when editing the main shop page, then it will show on all shop pages.
  • I've done that too, still the widgets are not showing up.
  • Check if you have set everything as needed, the widgets in the right widget area and shop page in woocommerce.
    Look at these screenshots.

  • I had put the widgets on the sidebar that I've created and not on the Woocommerce plugin section. It's working now.
