How do I add a background behind the logo in the header?

Hello.

I would like to add a background behind the logo in the header, but can figure out how to do this. Please advise.

Hi,
Go to theme options>header&subheader>header and change the background.

Hi.

I tried that and the background doesn't show up. I see a quick flash of the background and then it switches to a solid color. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, on the homepage only...I'm getting this white bar across the page under the header. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Please help with this too. http://www.thedevilstrumpet.com/wordpressdt/

Nevermind about the mobile issue. I decided to go with a solid color background. I just need to figure how to fix that white bar that's showing up under the navigation on the homepage. Thanks!

This is the content padding, go to theme options>global>advanced then remove content padding.

Have you saved it? Can you please send a screenshot of theme options>global>advanced then remove content padding section?

Thank you. I had put 0 for padding in that section instead of turning it off. That worked. Thanks for your help!
