Menu disappears behind YouTube video

I've got one of my folks sending me a screenshot of it, and, as soon as I get it, I'll append this thread with the screenshot. But my sub-menu items disappear behind the YouTube video. I "think" (more like, "I have read on Google!") that this could possibly be fixed via something like the z-index parameter, but I'm not exactly positive on the fix. All I do know is that it's a problem.

If you go to https://storagedepot.com and hover over some of the menu items, they disappear behind the YouTube video. How can we fix this?

we have checked your website and menu do not disappear so we have no idea where did you found it.

If I take the Christmas counter back down, the make the YouTube video the first thing that appears on the page, the sub menus will drop back behind the YouTube video.

I can't put it back as it'll make navigating to our other stores almost impossible. But I believe the solution has something to do with the z-index, correct?

If menu goes behind video then something is with the z-index. But when we check your website, we do not meet with anything like that.

But we noticed that you did not used our "Video" item because if you will use our, then everything will work properly. As we see you have used video without wmode=opaque parameter while it is responsible for z-index in IE. With our builder item, this parameter is included as default while in your code, we do not see it.

So are you saying that the menu will always disappear behind the YouTube unless I use the Muffin Builder?

If you will use parameter that we mentioned above, then of course not. But without this parameter this will work like that because VC does not have right parameters for items. So please put this parameter for video link and all will be fine.

Ok, so if I'm using VC to add a video, http://prntscr.com/5rnm9w then where does the "wmode=opaque" come into play?

Not that it's you guys (I think it's Visual Composer), but if you use the "YouTube" option to add a video, it won't let you remove the related videos with a 'rel=0' option. Yet if you use the text option then grab the YouTube embed code, then you can add the 'rel=0' option to stop showing related videos.

I can't think of a blog owner, content writer, business owner, or anyone else in the world that'd want related videos shown at the end of their video.

Kinda stinks!

With "Muffin builder" items it is possible of course to use different attributes because we added this possibility with one of last updates. The option is called "Parameters" and you can read about this item in the doc http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#muffin-builder (4.2.43 section). And as far as we know, VC item do not have such option as Muffin Builder to put parameters but question "why" should be directed to plugin's author.
