Theme Update

Hello, I tried updating the theme, but it reset all my theme settings and pages  back to your original dummy content.  Any tips on updating this theme to avoid that from happening?

    You must install Betheme Child (betheme-child.zip) as a backup theme,
    and when you updating the theme:

    1. you must activated the Betheme Child Theme first,
    2. updated/installed new Betheme in your ftp,
    3. and then later you activate back the new updated Betheme,

    so all the CSS design and setting that have been changed will still keep and save in Child theme,
    and will save back to you Betheme later.

    Hi,
    This is not possible, because the update only changes the files, which if you did not modify, stay the same. All of the content is held in the database.
    We always recommend to make a backup and the best way of updating is to completly remove the theme and paste a new one. Soon we will be including an auto-update functionallity.
