Hi,

I have implemented the Yoast plugin on a website with the be theme.

It adds content from the page into the meta description which I have already configured through yoast.

How to fix this.

Where is it adding the content? Of you mean google then you will have to wait for them to change it, we cannot do it. If it is on your browser, please disable all cache plugins and clear the browser cache.

Hi,

In yoast we add the meta description, then when we view the code source, the theme has added text from the page into another meta tag.

There are no cache plugins and google is warning about the duplicate meta.

It is warning about duplicate meta because the previous settings had been indexed by google and you have to wait some time for the google bots to crawl your site.

There will be no fix for that because this is not bug. The way you set your Yoast plugin and other SEO is up to you. Please send a link.

Hi,

If your option to turn off SEO within your theme does not work then that is a bug.
