Portfolio - Filter by Categories ISSUE

We have 45 pages of Portfolio images with 20 each on single page, with 8 catagories.
The issue is, we have set it to load random on Portfolio page.
Now when we visit Portfolio and select a FILTER by Category, then the image of the respective catagory filters in that 20 displayed random image in first page only get sorted. It does not show the portfolio of that whole Catagory.
Can you please help us to fix this.
We want the whole respective Catagory of Portfolio to be shown when a respective Filter of the Catagory is choosen on the Portfolio page.
How do we do that?

probably you use jQuery filtering with pagination at the same time what is technically not possible. You should choose if you want to use jQuery filtering (all items must be on one page) or pagination without filtering effect.
