PHP Fatal error in style.php and style-colors.php

 After updating the theme to 9.6 I get the following errors:

I am using the betheme-child as my active theme.

    Hello!

    Here is a sample link from one of our sites where this problem is appearing:

    What have we tried?

    1. We have tried to reset everything to default.
    2. We have tested it on more than one domain to confirm the error.

    The error is not having any impacts on the front end of the website as far as i can see but we can't use the Static CSS feature anymore because of this error.

    Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    P.S: Any radical changes have been made since the latest release that could impact such an error?

    Update: I have just downgraded the theme to the previous version (v9.5) to solve the issue. We hope to see a new update from your side pretty soon concerning this problem. Thanks

    @muffingroup : I didn't add any new plugins since version 9.5. In fact, I deleted some plugins and freed more space around. Version 9.5 is working perfectly for me. 

    Besides that, I don't have the Jetpack plugin installed on this server. If the problem is not from the theme then why the previous version is working well? Our guess is that your latest update triggered a new set of conflicts around.

    Thanks for your help and extended support. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    @kronomia As you see on this forum, 9.6 version works very well for all other people so the problem is definitely on your side. If you will send us url to site where you got latest version installed, then we can have a look on it.

    @muffingroup : Thank you for your reply. We really appreciate your help.

    Please, keep in mind that not everyone report bugs and few people actually monitor bugs in the first place. Not getting enough people talking about the same problem does not mean the problem does not exist. Not to mention that 2 people on this forum had reported the same problem.

    @kronomia Those files are ok of course. This is how they supposed to work now as they are invisible in the code. So we do not understand why are you sending us url to files which does not exist in the code. The way of including those files has been changed and this is the reason why they should look like now.

    I also see this in my error log.  Although the site appears to working correctly.  

    Most people don't look at their error log.

    @tinyfox But this is not an error. And we do not understand what for are you opening these files. These files since 9.6 version are deprecated and are invisible. Only you see them because you know where they were before that update.

    I'm not opening any files.  These errors, just show up in my apache error log.
