Favicon .ico file

Hi there,
I am trying to add a favicon to the betheme seo2 theme and when trying to upload the .ico file I get an error that says

"favicon.ico
Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons." yet right in the theme options it says ".ico 32x32 pixels" in the location to add the Favicon file.

How are we supposed to add a favicon to the site now?

Hi,

So there's no edit to header.php or anything we can do to accomplish this goal??

@lionsmane Did you read the link we left above? If you will read it more carefully, you will know that until dev's won't fix it, you can upload files using https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/
