best way to update theme and keep theme customization

Hi,

Please let me know what is the best way to update be theme (I have child theme installed too) and keep all current files customizations on theme.

Currently I have be theme 20.3 version and want to update to latest update.

Let me know the process? Do I have to compare all files or is there more simple way?

First of all, I suggest creating a backup of your website before updating it with the Duplicator plugin.

When you do that, you can proceed to update regularly. If you find that a child theme is a root cause, you must contact your web developer to adjust the files to work with the newest version.

I mean if you encounter any issues on your website that come from the customizations you made in the files (child theme), you should contact your web developer to correct these issues.
