If you select the slider option the featured image will be still shown as an simple image on the blog list, there will be no slider there. thanks

Yes, we understand but this is not a theme feature. Animated svgs are out of the support policy and we really cannot do anything about it if it does not work. If you change/activate another theme then nothing bad will happen. thanks
