Hi,the only way to add a second menu is by enabling the action bar in theme options and going to appereance>menus>manage locations and select your menu as social menu. This will disable the social icons but let you have the menu.

Yes, go to theme options>colors>forms and change the colors there. Remeber that if you have selected a custom color skin you will be not able to change individual colors.

The update does not change anything in the theme options or content because it is held in the database. You probalby had things changes in the files and they got overwritten.
