Yes, I got it working now by setting feature image for that page. But still, individual portfolio item page and single post page are still showing the blue bg as they don't inherit at all and though set in theme option.Thx you.

You can increase this #Top_bar #logo img { max-height: 80px; }to 160px and make sure you reupload a bigger logo too :) However, I too want an independent control on the logo like some other themes.
