when you edit menu items, you should have Background Image URL field where you can add link for background. Just look at http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/doc-images/menu-edition.png

on our page, it's highlighted because the post for which you have link was added into menu under Appearance > Menus section. So if you want to highlight Blog item when you read posts, you must

I use BeTheme wit the Header Layout "Simple" (Logo left, Hamburger Menu right)

you can change it's color with an extra css:#Header .secondary-menu > li > a { color: #FFF !important; }

we do not have option to set background image for menu but if you send us link to your site, we will see if it's possible to do this with custom css.

Hi, Now top bar looks cool. Only thing missing is highlighting the MENU ITEMS with theme color when some one hover over the MENU ITEMS.
