I added some submenu items to my menu, however, instead of dropping down vertically, they form a horizontal row.  How can I cange this so the drop down items are in a vertical column?

When using a Sony Android tablet the sub menu items are not clickable. The main menu items are clickable, but the sub menu items disappear that fast that I'm not able to click them.

I have another question though. How do you change the thickness of the line between the header and the menu? And between the menu items?
