Two active menu items are absolutely normal because "Sale" is a child of "Shop".

in menu we have the item 'shop' (it is a mega menu) which is the shop-page, also set in betheme options.

But we have MegaMenu already included in our Theme, and under following link you can check how to create one.

1. I see that you used MegaMenu instead of basic Menu. Please, check how to create Menus in this link

Please, set this icon in: Betheme > Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Shop, and remove icon shortcode you used in main menu.

Looks like something else going on. There is a space between header image and menu when I add a new post but when I re-edit the themes default post I don't see that space
