Hi,so after I updated the theme, the drop down menu will work? Thanks so much!

I've added our different portfolio categories as sub-items on our main menu. However when you click on one of these portfolio category pages from the menu bar there's no main image or heading.

you will be unable to move it to the center, but you can move it right using an option in theme options>menu&action bar>menu

No, sorry there is no option to click the menu item and not the icon.

this is the side-slide menu style.

But the alt tag can be added only to image items? There is no option to add it into menu items.

go to appaerance>menus and click on screen option to enable the menu items, screen: http://prntscr.com/in0q7n

Sorry but you must be using some third party plugin because this is not our menu.
