How to modify page color?
  • Hi again.  How do I change the color of the content area?

    Also, under Muffin Options > Colors > General, what is the purpose of the Body Background selector?  I am using a Custom Theme Skin, but whenever I change Body Background color, I don't see the new color take effect anywhere.

    Basically, I would prefer to have a page color that is something other than white.

  • I had the same question. I was not trying to change the color of a section on a page, I was trying to change the color of ALL of the posts and pages.

    I used Firebug to find that this is controlled by variables.css style sheet with the following

    #Wrapper {
        background-color: #fafafa;

    By placing this in the Cake Custom CSS area (Appearance > Cake Theme Options > Layout > Custom CSS) and changing the color hex code, I was able to change the background color of the page and sidebar areas.

    It would be GREAT if this was added to the theme options panel below the Body Background selector.
