image widget

Hi

I wish to use an image widget in the sidebars is there not an image widget that i can use?  i know i can use a text block to place an image but that means using html and absolute paths to link the image.

Also is it possible to us shortcodes in sidebar widgets?

Thanks for the reply, Using shortcodes and html can I use relative urls and avoid having to use absolute URL paths?
