Add to Cart Button - Grid/Masonry View Not Visible

Hello. This is a great theme and I would like to continue purchasing more copies for other sites but having a huge challenge when it comes to Woocommerce integration.

On the Grid and Masonry product views for the shop page the "Add to Cart" Button does not appear. You can only link by hovering over the image. This is a big challenge as it greatly reduces conversions and ease of use for people. I need the "Add to Cart" button to be front and center so people actually see it and use it.

How can I fix this so that the shop page functions as it should with a visible "Add to Cart" button?

I am running version 10.5 with Wordpress 4.3.1

Thank you for your time and great theme.

  • I also do understand that the "Add to Cart" Button shows up when using list view but this is not an effective view for the purposes of a site with lots of products. I need the "Add to Cart" button to be visible on the Grid 3 col, Grid 4 col and Masonry views.

Thank you again for your time
  • Hello I should also mention I did see the other post that inserted CSS to keep the buttons visible on the image but this unfortunately still is not that effective. The "Add to Cart" button is what really needs to be there.

    <code>.woocommerce .image_frame .image_wrapper .image_links { bottom: 0 !important; }</code>

  • Hi,

did you saw this button on one of our demos? If you saw it, please tell us on which demo. Also please attach screenshot with explanation where this button should be and url to site where button does not appear.

    Thanks!

Hello. This is a Standard Woocommerce "Add To Cart" button. It shows up on your product in List view on the right side.

If you are in Grid 3 col, Grid 4 col and Masonry views for Woocommerce products the "Add to Cart" button does not appear. It just shows up on the image when hovering over the product image.

When in Grid 3 col, Grid 4 col and Masonry views the "Add To Cart" button should be just to the right of the product name and price even without hovering on the image.

I cannot seem to upload a screen shot for you anywhere in this message but I hope that detail for what I mean should be pretty straight forward.

If you can please let me know how to get a working button in place that would be excellent.

Here is a standard woocommerce shop page that shows the "Add to Cart" Button for products.

    Thank you for your time.
  • Ok, we get it know. We were confused because we thought that something has been broken. However, this is just how our graphic did it. With some layouts, "Add to cart" button appear on hover only. We may consider your request while future updates of course but at this moment we do not have an option to display this button by default on layouts like Grid or Masonry.
  • Oh No. That is unfortunate to hear as it will decrease conversions of products.

Is this something that can be customized fairly easily? If so do you have any documentation on how it can be done?

Additionally, the two buttons that pop up over the product image on the shop page. There is an icon of a shopping cart and one of a link than change on hover:
    1) What folder are those icons located in?
    2) What file would I edit to change the img src for before hover and after hover for each icon?

Such a great theme to work with, just hoping I can navigate this e-commerce challenge.

Thank you for your time. It is greatly appreciated.
  • If you are good in coding, then everything is possible and easy. However if you are not, better contact with your website developer and ask him for help.

    1) All icons are located under fonts/ folder.
    2) This requires files customization what is not included unfortunately. For any files modification is responsible your website developer only.

    Thanks for understanding!
  • Ok thanks for your time. I greatly appreciate the support.
