Be|Theme front page/home page problem
Been working on modifying the "AG" demo in Be|Theme. I’m new at this so it’s a pretty slow process for me to modify stuff (images, code, etc) and get the layout I am looking for.
After hours of tweaking the "home page/front page" - the header - logo placement - slider depth - other elements (still not done yet), the "front page", for some reason unknown to me (but probably my fault, being new at this), started showing up as a pretty ugly "blog" page. Even if I click on the static page option. I tried reverting back to various older "saves" of different versions of the "Home" page, but none worked. Still the ugly blog page. Is there anything I an do to fix this? I have already scrapped all the files and started over once, and would rather not go through that again.
I had intended to attach a jpeg illustrating the probem, but - being a newbie - I don’t know how to attached something from a url (its a Photshop jpeg, not an online image).
So… you can see the front page I DON’T WANT (or like) at http://jameselamfishing.com
And THIS is what I DO want to use as the front page (home/landing page): http://
or - jameselamfishing.com/home-2/ (if link doesn’t work)
ALSO I would rather not include "Home" in the menu, as it appears now. I just want to use http://jameselamfishing.com/home-2/ as the landing page, and link it back to the header logo, from all pages. Hope that makes sense to you.
I think that’s all, for now. Please help, if possible. If not, let me know if I should start over or if there is anyway I can salvage at least something.
Thanks,
Larry

Once again, http://jameselamfishing.com/home-2/
is what I want the landing page to look like.
The landing/home page as it stands - http://jameselamfishing.com
now does not appear to be editable. To me, at least.
Thanks,
Larry
1. Maybe you set blog as homepage under Settings > Reading section or even you forgot to set home page under this section? That's are 2 most common reasons why you may have blog posts on home page.
2. Logo link can not be changed unfortunately. Logo is always linking to homepage.
Much appreciated!
Until next time,
Larry
