submenu is cutoff/hidden

Since updating to 10.7 i've noticed:

The submenu dropdown is cutoff when header minimalist option  is enabled?

sorry no link as site is hosted local in development at the moment

I've pinned down the issue it seems when option> footer > layout> style>  stick to the bottom if content is too short is selected.

I have switched back to default style and the submenu is visble again

Dropdown menus are cut off 

it would appear this maybe a bug related to this option
