sticky menu on mobile

Hi,
hopefully my last question.... :-)

I would like to have the black menubar sticky on mobile. I changed the button to "on" in Theme options / Responsive, but nothing changed. Hamburger menu is not sticky:

What am I doing wrong....?

Thanks,
Jack

  • Hi Jack,

sticky header does not work with mobile devices unfortunately. It is just technically incompatible.

    Thanks!

that's a pity. And surley no problem to implement. Most mobile sites have sticky headers, especially for long one page sites a must have. I often did it by myself (fixed, high z-index, thats it...), but don't know, where to change the specific css in the template.

I would strongly recomend to implement this feature, as others do.

Nevertheless thnaks for your prompt answer!

  • We did checked the site you mentioned (url has been removed because it's not allowed to promote other themes on this forum) and we noticed that with their theme, sticky header works exactly the same as with our theme. Sticky works only on tablets and desktops, just like with our theme.
  • If it works sticky on tablet it can easily be made sticky for Smartphone. Smartphones are just small tablets.... :-)
How can I make the nav Header of my theme sticky for tablet? It's not sticky at the Moment:

Sorry but we can't not agree with you unfortunately because you are wrong. Different devices react differently and that's the reason why sticky header does not work properly on mobile devices.

However, in accordance to your question, if you want to have sticky header on tablets, you supposed to decrease the value for Responsive Menu Initial width option under Theme options > Responsive section because both features are dependent on each other.

    Thanks for understanding!
