will I be able to download future updates for theme without having support?

I am trying to purchase just extended support for another 12 months, when I put in shopping cart- it wants me to buy the template again with the support. theme forest said in a month or so just the support option upgrade would be available... but what happens if my 3 month support runs out and there are theme updates, will I be able to download the file? to update the theme? without having support? 

Is there a way to have the update through wordpress backend?

all questions related with sales, should be sent to Envato. We do not have any impact on sales and there is nothing what we can do.

Yes, updates are lifetime and you would be able to download them even if you support would expire.
