Display a page for "not found" results in Betheme blog search

When someone search for a string in the blog using the "?s=" parameter and the text is not found in any posts or pages, a blank page is displayed, as we can see in this example: http://173.254.28.85/~imobili1/tovabrasil/?s=thisisatest

What I want to do is replace this blank page for a page created in my wordpress: http://173.254.28.85/~imobili1/tovabrasil/result (that i will customize attending my needs).

Could you please help me on this?

Thanks a lot and congratulations for greate theme :)

  • Hi,

if you build pages with Muffin Builder, you supposed to use Builder >> SEO option as well. That's the only way to let search find the content.

    Thanks :)
  • what I want is to display a not found page when someone search for a string that does not exist in my site, instead of show a blank page
  • Sorry for this misunderstood. We mixed the topics and this message should be sent to someone else.

Anyway, we added it with recent version but it's just simple page with simple information what you can see here. It would work automatically if you update theme to recent version.
  • I ve updated and now I see that I can customize the errror message in translation part of the theme options. By the way, I've I choose to customize that page design or create a page and assign that to be the search error page, which file(s) should I change and how?

    Thanks a lot.
  • For this page is responsible search.php file. However, files customization are not included so if you want to modify files, you need to do it yourself or if you don't know how, please contact with your website developer.
