How to get rid of section above title on categoty, product, and other pages?

This is showing on my category pages. YOu can't edit a category page so Im wondering what this is and how to get rid of it:

SO i fixed my error kind of. I just set a slider. But now the title and breadcrumbs have disappeared from the above screenshot.

Hi,

this area looks like header background feature. If you don't use it, you can easily remove it by activating "Header | Minimalist" option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

On the shop page Im getting this same problem. I really don't want to have to work around the issue by setting a image.

I do not want a header image/slider on the shop pages.

I dont think your answer above helps the shop pages, but I've already set that in the Header section

The section you presented on 1st screenshot, is not related with individual pages and that's why can not be on/off per pages. This is global section and can be activated/deactivated for all pages globally under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section where Minimalist option is. However, if you really want to get this header's background for most pages and remove it for WooCommerce pages only, then you need to send us link to page that concerns 2nd screenshot so we can have a look into code and see if this could be achieved with custom css.
