Portfolio Masonary as in the slideshow field

I would like to use Masonary Flat 4 coloums Layout as my first impression under the header using Modern Style (first option) - so that the Masonary Portfolio is placed where in the Slideshow would be. How do i set this up?
I saw a design like this but only with the Menu on the left side..
