Moving sidebar to the left side in woocommerce shop does not work

Hi,

I am currently testing the woocommerce options separately from the live website so when I integrate it in the live website everything works as it should. I noticed I cannot move the sidebar to the leftside. In selected the left side bar in the page options on the shop page and I also tried to use a custom sidebar but that does not show up on any woocommerce page when selected. How can I change this?

To show sidebar on shop page you should place widgets in special sidebar called Plugin | WooCommerce

after reinstalling woocommerce the problem seems to be solved. thanks though!

It show me only sidebar on right. How can I move on the right? Thanks

@WLStudio Go to Page Options section of that page and change sidebar's layout. That's it!

Hi, I have a similar issue, the page I'm having an issue with is an archive/shop categories type page so there is not page options, if I use css to swap the right sidebar to the left, the links in my main section that link to the category pages stop working. 

Hope you can help.

@reders2 You need to set sidebar for shop page first. Only then, that option would affect all shop pages related. Please notice that there is no other way to set sidebar for archive pages.
