Downloading Google fonts as local fonts

I realized that my website is loading external fonts from Google and I see that Betheme allows us to use custom fonts.

So I just need to download the fonts that I want from Google in 4 formats and upload them into Betheme as Custom fonts. In that way, all the fonts in my website will be loaded locally, am I right?

  • If you want, you can do it that way but the sense of custom fonts section was to upload the fonts which does not exist as Google.

so, is there a way to upload goolge fonts on betheme in order to be loaded internally and not externally from google servers? i want to do that in order to increase page speed.

    please help
  • Hi,
sorry but we integrated the google fonts API and it is much faster than loading the resources from your server. IF you want to load your fonts, simply use the custom fonts option in theme options>fonts.
    thanks
