Hi,

buttons style can be changed under Theme options > Global > General section.

Button style can be set only once per whole site and this can be done under the section we mentioned above. It is not possible to set different styles per different buttons.

But to use icons in menu, please take a look at http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/94/mega-menu-icons where this has been explained.
