Retina Logo Aspect Ratio

This is as much for the Be Theme developers as it is for other users who may have encountered the same issue as I have. First, you need to see our logo and how it is meant to appear:

We just launched our Be Theme website just before Christmas. Very shortly thereafter, we discovered that when certain browsers are resized, the logo is stretched/compressed outside of its aspect ratio. See below for example:

My boss and I finally narrowed down the issue: we've discovered that this is an issue happening on retina displays. When the optional retina logo exists in the Be Theme settings, there is code embedded in the page source to display the retina logo file at the following ratios in the responsive CSS: 225x60, 450x90, and 338x90. Removing the optional retina logo from the Be Theme settings solved the problem by forcing retina displays to use the (smaller, lower res) standard logo, which for some reason isn't coded in the same way in the page source to display specific sizes.

Were the developers previously aware of this and are (will) it be fixed so I can use the retina logo again? Thank you for your time.
